Infant Massage Certification Training

 

Coming to Grow with Me Pediatric Physical Therapy, in conjunction with Infant Massage USA,  Infant Massage Certification Training.

 

 

The training will focus on infant massage as a parenting tool and will address teaching infant massage to parents with well babies and adaptations for babies born premature or who have developmental challenges.  


The comprehensive 4- day training is based on family strengths, which promotes bonding and attachment as well as the physical and emotional well being of babies and young children.  As a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) you help parents use nurturing touch to feel closer to their babies, reduce baby's colic and fussing, and become healthier and happier.

 

Our 15-point curriculum, designed by Vimala McClure, author of Infant Massage, A Handbook for Loving Parents, will give you the knowledge base, experience and confidence you will need to fulfill your role as an instructor.  You will get practical experience teaching infant massage during the three parent-baby classes which are part of the training.

Cost:

The training fee is $650 ($625 with early registration) and includes the four days of training books included in the training: Infant Massage: A Handbook for Loving Parents, the International Educators Manual, training workbook plus additional  teaching materials and certification review.

This course and completion of the certification exam with practicum qualify for 51.5 CE hours for nurses and 56 CE hour for massage therapists, Child Life Specialists and social workers
